"Ronco delle Mele" is today one of Italy's best-known and consistently award-winning white wines, which has become the flagship for Venica & Venica.

The complexity of this wine and its sensuality are impressive. The olfactory characteristics are typical of Sauvignon wines from cold climates: intense and elegant aromas of elderberry, gooseberry, tomato leaf, green pepper, boxwood, and cedar, enriched with citrus notes of lime and grapefruit, mineral tones of flint, and overall with a slightly smoky note.

On the palate, the wine follows the aromas perceived by the nose and enhances them. In particular, the uniqueness of the tomato leaf, the freshness of the citrus fruits, and the acidity and minerality typical of Collio stand out here. They offer a great enjoyment with lasting intensity, full-bodied and creamy, but also spicy and balanced. The finish is long, velvety, and soft.

Venica & Venica

Even today, Venica & Venica is a "family business," founded in 1930, with 40 hectares of vineyards, all located in the Collio D.O.C. The Venicas are down-to-earth winemakers who value their traditions and yet engage in continuous research and innovation. This can also be observed every year at ProWein, when Mrs. Venica herself serves the wines for tasting and warmly welcomes you.

Their love for the people and the land, Collio, and the passion with which they do their work have made Venica & Venica the company it is today. Their production philosophy can be summarized as follows: technology and organization are not enough; the relationship with nature requires more.

It is a teamwork that has developed over time to interpret the relationship between humans and the environment.
A harmonious relationship, without coercion, from which one can only get the most if one gives everything oneself. For Venica & Venica, ecological
sustainability is the starting point of a process that brings producers and consumers together and expresses the uniqueness of each wine according to the different production reality each year.
