A. Withdrawal Information

Introduction

Consumers have a right of withdrawal under the following conditions, whereby a consumer is any natural person who enters into a legal transaction for purposes that are predominantly neither attributable to their commercial nor their independent professional activity:

Right of withdrawal

You have the right to revoke this contract within fourteen days without giving any reasons.

The revocation period is fourteen days from the day you or a third party named by you, who is not the carrier, has taken possession of the last goods.

To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform us (Patrick Slaby, Piemont-Express, Spichernstr. 33, 40476 Düsseldorf, Germany, Tel.: +49211444080, E-Mail: info@piemont-express.de) by means of a clear declaration (e.g. a letter sent by post or an email) of your decision to revoke this contract. You can use the attached sample withdrawal form for this purpose, but it is not mandatory.

To meet the revocation deadline, it is sufficient that you send the notification of exercising the right of withdrawal before the revocation period expires.

Consequences of revocation

If you revoke this contract, we will refund you all payments received from you, including delivery costs (except for additional costs resulting from your choice of a delivery method other than the cheapest standard delivery offered by us), without delay and no later than fourteen days from the day we receive the notification of your revocation of this contract. For this refund, we will use the same payment method you used in the original transaction, unless expressly agreed otherwise with you; in no case will you be charged fees for this refund. We may withhold the refund until we have received the goods back or you have provided proof that you have sent the goods back, whichever is earlier.

You must return or hand over the goods to us without delay and in any case no later than fourteen days from the day on which you inform us of the withdrawal of this contract. The deadline is met if you send the goods before the period of fourteen days has expired.

You bear the direct costs of returning the goods.

You only have to pay for any loss in value of the goods if this loss in value is due to handling them that is not necessary for checking the nature, characteristics, and functioning of the goods.

Exclusion or premature expiration of the right of withdrawal

The right of withdrawal does not exist for contracts for the delivery of goods that can spoil quickly or whose expiration date would be quickly exceeded.

The right of withdrawal does not exist for contracts for the delivery of alcoholic beverages, the price of which was agreed upon at the conclusion of the contract, but which can be delivered no earlier than 30 days after the conclusion of the contract and whose current value depends on fluctuations in the market that the entrepreneur cannot influence.

The right of withdrawal does not apply to consumers who are not residents of a member state of the European Union at the time of the conclusion of the contract and whose sole residence and delivery address at the time of the conclusion of the contract are outside the European Union.

General notes

1) Please avoid damage and contamination of the goods. Please return the goods in their original packaging with all accessories and all packaging components. If necessary, use protective outer packaging. If you no longer have the original packaging, please ensure adequate protection against transport damage with suitable packaging.
2) Please do not return the goods to us freight collect.
3) Please note that the aforementioned points 1-2 are not a prerequisite for the effective exercise of the right of withdrawal.
