The Elstar used for this 100% direct juice comes from the organic farm Clostermann in Bislich, Lower Rhine, and organic farms from the Alten Land. The Elstar variety is a cross between the Ingrid Marie and Golden Delicious varieties. The taste is characterized by its sweet and sour aroma. At the van Nahmen cider mill and private pressing house in Hamminkeln, Rhineland, fruit processing has a long tradition. Nothing is removed from or added to the juices: no preservatives, no flavorings. Special attention is paid to the use of old fruit varieties and thus to the preservation of traditional, endangered cultural varieties.
