This cuvée, aged in new French oak barrels and made from Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Petit Verdot, and Sangiovese, is among the best wines of Italy. It presents a rich taste with a powerful aroma of ripe berries and a delicate roasted note. In the very long, concentrated finish, dark fruits and delicate, soft tannins can be found.

Argiano

Southwest of Montalcino lies the Argiano winery, whose origins date back to 1581. The winery changed noble hands frequently until 1992 when Countess Noemi Marone Cinzano took over the estate. She was supported by the famous oenologist Giacomo Tachis. Under his direction, the now-famous Supertuscan Solengo quickly joined the Brunello from Argiano.

Afterwards, Hans Vinding Diers took on the role of oenologist until a Brazilian billionaire bought the winery in 2019 and invested properly in all processes.

As a result, Argiano has also become the first plastic-free winery in Italy.
