MontsantA charming and fresh red wine with a lot of expression and depth presents itself intensely purple-red with distinct violet reflections.
Grows in the most extreme northern vineyards. The highest areas of the foothills of the Serra del Montsant, in the natural park near Vila de Cornudella.
On calcareous soils grow Carignan and Grenache, from 40-65 year old vines.
Spontaneous fermentation, with the stems in the steel tank with some pigeage for 20 days and aging in French oak barrels for 9 months. Minimal use of sulfur.
