Krumiri are a type of Italian pastry that was invented in Casale Monferrato in northern Italy. They are known for their characteristic, slightly curved, ridged shape, which is said to resemble the mustache of the first king of Italy, Victor Emmanuel II.
Krumiri are traditionally handmade and are perfect for eating with Zabaione (Zabaglione or Zabajone) and coffee or tea.
