La Quiberonnaise has managed to secure a permanent share of the butter production and fills the liquid gold with sardines in the tin. An exclusive specialty and delicious, not only in the cold season, are the fine butter sardines. The can is gently warmed while closed so the butter inside liquefies, then opened and the contents lightly fried in a pan, just until the butter is about to brown. We recommend letting the sardines cool slightly, enjoying them lukewarm and straight from the pan, served simply with baguette. Vive la France.
