The Chemins des Terroirs is an excellent business card to get to know the puristic style of the house. A cross-section of the different sites (in transition to biodynamics) is presented in this wine within a classic blend of 50% Chardonnay, 30% Pinot Noir, and 20% Pinot Meunier. The wine shows itself with small-bubbled perlage in bright white gold, clear and shiny in the glass.

De Sousa is a 10-hectare small family business in Avize in the heart of the Côte des Blancs.

The winery is currently run by Erick Sousa in the 2nd generation.

Since 1995, organic farming has been practiced and since 2002 biodynamic farming. The soil is partially plowed with horses. Sulfites in the champagne are kept as minimal as possible and the first fermentation takes place with natural yeasts.
