Charles Dufour is absolutely to be understood as an artist.
He creatively expresses himself with champagne and has a firm belief in how they should be in the bottle at the end.
Always exciting. Even if a bit confusing.

Charles Dufour
Charles Dufour, born in 1982, finds himself in a situation that is as wonderful as it is challenging, caught between worlds. He is by no means a newcomer anymore, and yet he can repeatedly positively surprise people with his characterful champagnes.
At the winery in the 500-inhabitant community of Landreville, operated since 1925 by his grandfather, he processes the grapes from about five hectares, which he cultivates organically and Ecocert certified across six vineyards around the village. The home of these clay and limestone soils in the Côtes des Bar is noticeably milder than that of the Marne valley and therefore naturally produces a somewhat less opulent style in the bottle. Associated with the name Charles Dufour, one always looks forward to something new, as he carries the inventive spirit and charm of a Daniel Düsentrieb in his nature.
