Le Serre Nuove dell’Ornellaia is the second wine of the famous Ornellaia and is made from grapes from the same vineyards, that thrive under optimal conditions and according to the same careful philosophy like its big brother. DThe wine shows, typical for Le Serre Nuove dell’Ornellaia, its balanced structure and the characteristic finesse of the vintage: thanks to a mild winter, rainy spring days, and a warm, balanced summer, the grapes ripened evenly, while cool September nights preserved freshness and fine aromatics.
The wine shines in deep ruby red with violet reflections. On the nose, ripe forest berries and cherries unfold, subtly accompanied by fine spice notes. On the palate, polished, fine-grained tannins combine with a harmonious body, supported by lively freshness. The balance of power and elegance ensures an invigorating drinking flow that ends in a long-lasting finish.
