Golden yellow and brilliant in color. The aromas are intense and broad, with notes of Ripe white-fleshed peach, jasmine, broom, herbs, and an iodine finish.

Well balanced on the palate, persistent and harmonious.

Hand harvesting with grape sorting, destemming, and subsequent berry selection. The berries are cold macerated for about 48 hours before fermentation and then gently pressed. Fermentation takes place in new French oak barriques. It remains on its fine lees in the barrels throughout the entire aging process, generally 12 months, during which bâtonnage is performed. After bottling, the wine rests in the bottle for at least 12 months.

Inspired by the metaphorical juxtaposition of the medieval panel "Ars Magna" by Ramon Llull, the Chardonnay Ars Magna reflects the principle "Bonitas," a noun expressing goodness, good quality, but also honesty and fertility. The purest and most careful selection of Ars Magna Chardonnay, grown on soil that, both in composition and location, produces a special wine, allows the Chardonnay to express its full aromatic power and minerality. The patient work in the cellar and the combinatorial art of oak aging complete the goodness and refinement of this wine.

Roman omen

There are people who grow beyond themselves for something new. This is also true for the people behind ÔMINA ROMANA: They are united not only by their passion for wine but also by the desire to create something that leaves lasting values and fits into the centuries-old history of the country. The owner, Katharina Börner, ensures that this will never lose its strength, as she leads the winery with great dedication, accompanied by the whole family.

In Velletri, she is supported by Paula Pacheco, who accompanies the work in the vineyard and in the olive groves, by Simone Sarnà, an oenologist in the wine cellar, and Claudio Gori, who advises her as an internationally recognized oenologist.
