The name Rubesco derives from the Latin "rubescere" = to blush.
The Sangiovese is grown at about 300 meters above sea level.
Presents itself in the glass deep ruby red with violet reflections.
Elegant and complex nose with sour cherry typical for Sangiovese in the foreground. Some floral violet notes and a bit of cocoa and coffee from the wood. Spicy finish with notes of pepper and cloves.
Maturation in 50hl barrels and fine-grained oak barriques for a total of about 12 months.
