The vines of the Gewürztraminer grow in hilly areas between 350 and 650 meters above sea level.

After fermentation, the wine matures for six months on the fine lees.

Intensely golden yellow wine with a complex bouquet.

Litchi, orange peels, cloves, nutmeg, and roses.

Needs some time in the glass and pairs excellently with Asian dishes.

Franz Haas

At the Franz Haas winery, the foundation for the current operation was laid in 1880. It is currently under the leadership of the 7th generation "Franz Haas". The firstborn son is still called Franz.

Since 2000, more and more vineyards in higher altitudes have been leased and established, and natural winegrowing has always been emphasized.

The beautiful labels have been designed by the artist Riccardo Schweizer since 1990.
