Pian di Stio is a great Fiano, coming from selected plots of the vineyard in Stio at 650 meters altitude.

The wine appears crystal clear, pale, and straw yellow with greenish nuances. Delicate floral and fruity aromas reveal themselves on the nose.

On the palate, it presents itself as refreshing, lively, and opulent. Expressive and with fantastic minerality. Good aging potential.

San Salvatore

San Salvatore cultivates its wines in one of the most beautiful landscapes in the world. The climatic conditions were already a reason for the ancient Greeks to settle there.

Who is the man behind the winery? Seemingly out of nowhere, Giuseppe Pagano climbed the international stage of recognized wine producers in less than two decades. From the very beginning, he set organic farming as the standard, and while his wines received high-ranking awards worldwide almost immediately, San Salvatore, as one of only 11 wineries in the world, was awarded the prestigious Green Emblem by Robert Parker for excellent sustainability in the wine industry.

As an established hotelier, he decided at the age of 50 to enter winemaking and soon began building a buffalo farm in a circular economy of stable and vineyard. Peppino's vision: self-sufficiency in energy in the shadow of the majestic temples in Paestum, where Greek inhabitants had already brought indigenous grape varieties 3,000 years ago. It happened in the heart of the Cilento National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and Biosphere Reserve, where only extreme wines could have been cultivated during an initial visit: Giuseppe Pagano defied all concerns and laid the foundation for the success of his wines.

In Stio, at 650 m above sea level, amidst pristine nature, surrounded by wild water gorges and snow-capped mountains, San Salvatore 19.88 today produces some of the most successful and highly rated wines in Southern Italy. From the Cannito vineyard, located at 250 m above sea level above the ancient temples of Paestum, the view stretches over the Gulf of Salerno to the fashionable Capri and the picturesque Amalfi Coast; Mediterranean excellence underfoot and in sight, for vines and buffalo. “In every successful product, there must be love, respect, and ethics.” (quoted Peppino Pagano)
