Umbria
Probably the most famous white wine of Umbria! Consists of 95% Chardonnay and 5% Grechetto. The complex bouquet, along with the intensely fruity taste with fine toasted notes and the seemingly endless finish, make this magnificent wine, aged for five months in new barriques, an unforgettable experience.

Castle of the Hall
The Castello della Sala is located in Umbria, not far from the Tuscan border and about 18km from the historic city of Orvieto. This impressive medieval castle is surrounded by 500 hectares of land, of which 170 hectares are vineyards located at an altitude of 220-470m above sea level. The vineyards stretch across gentle hills that are so typical of this landscape. The soil tends to be clayey, the vineyards are well oriented towards the sunrise, and the microclimate is characterized by cold – but not too harsh – winters and very warm summers, during which the morning fog leaves its mark on the ripening grapes. The area of Castello della Sala is excellent for the production of white wines. The only exception: the Pinot Nero, which can best express itself in this soil.
