Founded in 1893 by Arthur Agrapart, the great-grandfather of today's owners Pascal and Fabrice Agrapart, in Avize in the heart of the Côte des Blancs. Agrapart has always been a true house-made Champagne. Since its founding, all subsequent generations of passionate winemakers have exclusively taken charge of the cultivation, vinification, bottling, and sale.
Through this independence, the family has the opportunity to monitor all stages of production themselves at any time. The vineyards of the house are geographically excellently located in the center of Champagne in municipalities classified as Grand Cru. Spread over 52 parcels, the vines have an average age of almost 50 years, some are even over 65 years old.
Moreover, the management is carried out according to biodynamic methods, which also includes vineyard work with horses. This also allows for the creation of Champagne with great independence and personality.
