This Franciacorta is truly different! The young entrepreneurs are taking new paths! It starts with the fact that this Franciacorta, made in the Champagne style, is exclusively aged in stainless steel tanks. Some may miss the usual barrique aroma. However, we are simply thrilled.

The grapes are selectively hand-picked (baskets of max. 18 kg). The average annual production is: 1,000 bottles

Yield per hectare: 95 quintals of grapes / ha = 55 hl / ha. These new paths in Franciacorta thus clearly distinguish themselves from houses like Ca' Del Bosco.

100% Chardonnay from a single vineyard on Mount Orfano.

Recently, another vintage was rated by Gambero Rosso as the second-best Franciacorta, one that is not well known, in Italy. With 95+ points.

The two have been making excellent Franciacortas here for years. A look at the homepage is worth it for the lovingly designed vineyard descriptions. Sometimes you can also find something like this on one of the rare collector's boxes. Wonderful.

Content-wise, of course, not always up to date.

Specifically, Orfano Riserva really does not have to hide from any other Franciacorta. I would say it is one of the best Franciacorta in Italy.
