Leonardi - this name guarantees the most exceptional quality in Aceto, due to the finest natural raw materials and extensive expertise and excellent craftsmanship in production. Bottled in beautiful, eye-catching bottles that reflect the special status of the product. The Leonardi family has also been managing the "Campi Macri" estate for four generations and personally participates in the grape harvest. Surrounded by 9 hectares of vineyards, the approximately 300-year-old Azienda of the Leonardi family is located 16 kilometers southwest of Modena. Since 1871, the Leonardi family has specialized in the production of Aceto Balsamico there. The estate is situated on the Campi Macri, known for their fertility since Roman times. Their property houses many historical tools, such as old barrels bearing the seal of Matilde of Canossa from the 12th century. Today, Giovanni Leonardi and his son Francesco manage the farm and the Acetaia in the fourth generation. Between September and October, at a time when sugar and acidity are balanced, the grapes from the Lambrusco and Trebbiano vines are hand-harvested. Lambrusco has a strong, spicy character, while Trebbiano contributes sweet, delicate aromas.
