This vinegar, made directly from grapes of the Roditis variety, consists of only two ingredients: white wine vinegar and concentrated grape juice. The "special" among the Jordan vinegars has a noble finesse in fruitiness with a more subtle acidity of 5%. The sweetness is well balanced, and the finish is long.

TASTING NOTES: Dark yellow color with orange hues, fruity aromas of apricots, sweet apples, and dried grapes, with a hint of strawberries.

AWARD:  "We are proud to announce that our Jordan Original Organic White Balsamic was awarded best vinegar at the prestigious Great Taste Award in London. The Great Taste Award, also known as the “Oscars of the gourmet world,” is one of the most significant international awards in the food industry.

This recognition is a great confirmation of the exceptional quality and distinctive taste found in every drop of this vinegar. The combination of traditional production, the unique characteristics of the Roditis grape, and three years of aging in oak barrels convinced the jury.

This award underscores our philosophy: creating products that combine nature, craftsmanship, and authentic flavor. Try the award-winning white balsamic and discover for yourself why it meets the highest standards.

Background:
We have long been searching for a good vinegar and balsamic from Greece.
The still young winery of the Nikos Bouzinelos family was finally the long-awaited partner who had the right commitment to unconditionally high quality.
to produce.
The winery is located in Koutsi in the municipality of Corinth in the Nemea wine region.
Through the father of Bastian Jordan’s wife Marialena, Dimitrios Mantas, who has worked closely with the owners of the family business Kyknos for over 50 years, there is a strong connection to agriculture in the Peloponnese. Through friends from Dimitrios’s hometown, contact was established with the Bouzinelos winery.

Natural vinegar made from grapes without additives.

Jordan Olive Oil

The philosophy can be summed up simply:

Fair partnership with Greek friends and business partners & exceptional quality at fair prices for customers.

The goal: to produce one of the best olive oils ever.

The three major olive-growing regions...

are Crete, Kalamata, and Lesbos. Despite the 11 million olive trees, the olive oil from Lesbos is not very well known. This may be because the word "marketing" is unknown here and the rest of the population prefers to use a heavy oil. It is a special feature of Jordan oil that it is easily digestible and well tolerated.

On Lesbos, the varieties Kolovi, Ladolia, and Adramitiani are grown. The latter comes from the Asia Minor coast and is found worldwide only on Lesbos. It never produces huge yields, which may be another reason why it is not cultivated in other areas. It ripens in November and December and yields 22-25% oil from its fruit, which is not much compared to other varieties (up to 40%). But it is light and has an excellent aroma.
