Duemani: Duemani Cabernet Franc 2014

This pure Cabernet Franc, named after the winery, represents the owners' vision of the dream wine. Biodynamic, tiny yields, pure handcraft, and the purest nature in the bottle. Cabernet Franc has the potential to become a great wine. The wine is quite dark, with a nose of black cherry, blueberry, licorice, and violet. Reminiscent of Ribera del Duero with the spicy black depth typical of Cabernet Franc.

Young vintages, but only after hours in the decanter; perhaps this is why impatient international tasters consistently rate this wine higher than the Syrah.

The 2014 has already matured for 5 years away from the winery.
