The Silvaner comes from the Maustal vineyard, located south of Sulzfeld am Main a four-hectare vineyard facing south and southeast. The steep slope is characterized by the barren and skeletal Upper Muschelkalk.

The vines for the Silvaner are the oldest self-planted vines and date from 1962 and 1963. What is special here is that it is Yellow Silvaner and not Green Silvaner that was planted here.

As always at the Zehnthof Luckert winery is hand-harvested here, destemmed, given a slightly longer maceration time, and spontaneously fermented.

Luckert's wines are matured in the classic double-barrel cask made of Spessart oak.
