About 60% of the grapes for Monvigliero are not destemmed, which enhances the aromatic nuances of the wine. Youthful notes of raspberry and blueberry are complemented by black pepper, gentian, porcelain, and black olives. On the palate, it has an enchantingly soft texture, fine and creamy, underscored by wonderful bay leaf and floral aromas. Monvigliero impresses with its purity, clarity, and class. Excellent.

Vietti
Vietti is undoubtedly one of the best producers in Piedmont. Vietti was a pioneer in producing terroir-specific single-vineyard Barolo and Barbaresco. At a time when the traditional idea of a Barolo or Barbaresco was always a vineyard blend, Vietti wanted to express the special potential of its top vineyards and developed them as single-vineyard wines. But the winery took bold steps not only with its top Nebbiolo wines. Vietti is also known for its exceptional single-vineyard Barbera and its Arneis. The fact that Arneis is experiencing a renaissance in Piedmont today and is now indispensable is also thanks to Vietti. The winery has been managing its vineyards organically for years.
