VenetoThe young and very dynamic Monte Cimo winery exclusively processes PIWI grapevines. PIWI refers to grapevines that are "fungus-resistant." These are hybrid grape varieties created by crossing the European species Vitis vinifera with American or even Asian species. The resulting grape crosses are resistant to fungal and parasite diseases and are called super-organic wines due to the minimal to almost nonexistent use of chemical products or pesticides in the vineyard, without compromising the quality of the final product.
The excellent Sauvignon Tre Vie is made from the three robust grape varieties Maris, (Sauvignon) Rytos, and (Sauvignon) Kretos.
The intense bouquet is very aromatic, fragrant, and delights with mineral notes. On the palate, flavors of fresh fruits, citrus fruits, and flowers emerge.
Monte Cimo’s Sauvignon Tre Vie is a wine that knows how to evoke emotions and fully showcase the potential of these fascinating grape varieties.
