The Prosecco DOC Organic from Le Contesse pours into the glass with a bright straw-yellow color. On the nose, it delights with a fruity bouquet of golden apple, citrus fruits, Williams pear, and peach, underscored by aromas of wisteria and white blossoms. On the palate, the organic Prosecco is delicately fruity, accompanied by a lovely note of honeydew melon. All the aromas present themselves juicy, very clear, and with medium acidity on the palate, pleasantly dry. Its perlage is very fine and long-lasting.

For the Prosecco Spumante DOC Organic, Le Contesse uses only the ripest, organically grown Glera grapes for the Prosecco Spumante brut Organic, which grow in the province of Treviso, on vineyards located 40 meters above sea level.

That is why it remains clear and fresh with its distinctly stimulating character up to a long-lasting finish.

The grape harvest is done manually in the second half of September. In the winery, the grapes undergo gentle pressing. Then the must is clarified by static decanting. Part of the must is stored cold, while the rest is vinified at controlled temperatures and then stored in stainless steel tanks at low temperatures.

This is followed by a second fermentation in stainless steel tanks with selected yeasts. The sparkling wine is finally bottled and stored in a climate-controlled room.

Le Countesses

Le Contesse is a family-run winery at the foot of the hills of Conegliano in the Valdobbiadene region of Veneto. Since the early 1970s, the Bonotto family has been producing sparkling wines here. For this, Le Contesse selects, cultivates, and multiplies its own yeasts. As a result, these wines have an incomparable freshness compared to those made with industrially produced yeasts, which lasts long after opening the bottle. Many regional and international awards repeatedly confirm the excellent quality of the products. Le Contesse owns 200 hectares of vineyards in 8 municipalities in Veneto.
