Houblin-Vernin

After his award with the Trophée Jeunes Talents 2020, Valentin Vernin took over the management of the winery founded by Jean-Luc Houblin – the great quality pioneer of Coulanges-la-Vineuse – in 2022. The Kimmeridge soil brings salty minerality and fresh tannins to the structure of the red wines. The white wines of this appellation are lively, with fresh fruit and elegance. The top cuvées of the now approximately 20ha Domaine Houblin-Vernin are bottled as single vineyard wines, which is rather rare in Coulanges-la-Vineuse.
