The winery Guy Bocard, located in the heart of the village of Meursault, cultivates 5.6 hectares of vines and exclusively produces white wines. In the 1920s, Charles Bocard, Guy's grandfather, founded the family estate. 1959 was an important turning point for the winery when Guy's father, also a Charles Bocard, began bottling his own wine and selling it directly. From 1976 to 1983, Guy Bocard additionally acquired several parcels in Meursault, took over his father's vineyards, and opened the Domaine at its current location in 1987. Since 2020, René Mora has succeeded Guy, who had already worked here as a harvest helper 30 years earlier. With the experience he has gained at the Côte de Beaune since then, he introduced modern viticulture practices and initiated the transition to organic farming.
