Château Marjosse is a historic estate from the year 1782. It is located about 14 km south of Saint Emilion and is surrounded by 40 hectares of vines. The vines are situated on exceptional clay and limestone soils.

The winemaker and wine merchant Pierre Lurton, born and raised on a neighboring vineyard, purchased Château Marjosse in several stages starting in 1991. Since then, he has been producing red and white wines here with a very good price-performance ratio.

Pierre Lurton likes to refer to Château Marjosse as the "secret garden." He applies his "Grand Cru" principles to this lesser-known region in Bordeaux. There are young and old, nearly hundred-year-old vines, there are Merlot, Malbec, Cabernet Franc, and Cabernet Sauvignon for red wines and Sauvignon Blanc, Sémillon, and a bit of Muscadelle for the white wines.
