Antonio Bragato's Sereno presents itself as multi-layered and full of tension, a white cuvée that he has impressively and more precisely than ever before brought to life after a six-year break.

In the inviting bouquet, fresh, captivating aromas of pineapple, stone fruits, white blossoms, bread crust, and white currants. On the palate, juicy and intense, with a creaminess that is irresistible. The 7-month aging on fine lees provides complexity and depth, which is exceptional for an "entry-level wine."

80% Pinot Bianco, 10% Sauvignon, 5% Friulano, 5% Chardonnay.

Bragato

I met Antonio Bragato, who was born in Germany but is a Friulian through and through, at ProWein 2025. He is a successful restaurant operator in Berlin, but he teamed up with Gianni Maccari 20 years ago, who was a cellar master at Livio Felluga for many years and now runs his own winery, Ronco della Rocca. The trained agronomist and oenologist is considered one of the best-trained wine experts in Friuli. His knowledge of his own 12 hectares of vineyards, as well as the leased parcels and the radical precision in the execution of every task, shapes the clear style and reliable quality of the wines that Antonio Bragato creates there with him.

Starting with the 2019 vintage, a new era begins for Bragato. Since then, the duo has focused on an even more rigorous selection of the oldest vines from the coolest and best locations. The results of the "Nuova Edizione" are truly impressive in both appearance and taste. They are even more radical in complexity and finesse.

In Antonio's white wines, all elements – acidity, low pH values, opulent extracts, juiciness, richness of aromas – are impressively present. At the same time, the wines, despite their richness, feel cool, racy, and elegant.
