In a powerful, brilliant ruby violet, the 'Volo di Villa' sparkles in the glass. Its aroma reveals a beautiful potpourri of dark berries, especially blueberry and elderberry, as well as gentle notes of tobacco. On the palate, it is taut with well-integrated tannins and ripe fruit.

Villa Santo Stefano
Today, the winery produces approximately 30,000 bottles of red and white wine annually, as well as 4,000 bottles of the highest quality olive oil. The Reitzle family and their team, led by chief oenologist Antonio Spurio, represent the typical Tuscan joie de vivre and outstanding quality in terms of vino and olio.
In search of a holiday home in the hilly landscape of Lucchesia, Wolfgang Reitzle, together with his wife Nina Ruge, acquired the "Villa Bertolli" in 2001. The sea, the lush vegetation, and the gentle hills around the city of Lucca were not the only things that fascinated the two: during the tasting of the first wine from the estate's own 1-hectare slope, they fell in love with the idea of founding their own winery. Thus, "Villa Santo Stefano" was born – named after a neighboring church from the 9th century. From one hectare of vineyard, it grew to a good seven. From a place mainly intended for their own relaxation, it became a magnet for all who love genuine Tuscan wines and good olive oil.
