Aged for 12 months in 25 hl Slavonian oak barrels.

Sciaranuova is located at an average altitude of 730 meters above
sea level between the district of Montelaguardia and Passopisciaro. The area covers 14.40 hectares, of which 4.9 hectares are vineyards. It is characterized by terraces with dry-stone walls and more than 7 hectares of chestnut groves.
The morphology slopes from southeast to northeast with an average gradient of 8.5%. The area where the vineyards of Contrada Sciaranuova are located is shaped by the volcanic formations of Mount Etna, which are between 4,000 and 40,000 years old.
