The ’Costamiòle’, aged for 12 months in barrique, reveals intense fruit aromas, mainly plums and cherries, along with hints of violets, cinnamon, cocoa, and leather. On the palate, it is full-bodied and reveals soft yet complex tannins.

Costamiòle is produced from the vineyards in the area of Agliano Terme, a place where Barbera thrives thanks to a favorable south-facing exposure, ideal for this grape variety. This wine, aged in small oak barrels, preserves the exceptional freshness and aromatic qualities of the grape.

Prunotto

Today's Prunotto winery was founded in 1904 as the winegrowers' cooperative "The Wines of Langhe." After the first good harvest in 1905, some difficult years followed. Economic hardships and the effects of World War I eventually led to the dissolution of the cooperative. Today, the winery is owned by the Antinori family.
