Winzer Graciano Pra is primarily known for his white wines, having made Soave fashionable again.
But the red wines are absolutely outstanding as well.
An Amarone is pressed from dried grapes and therefore has a bit more alcohol than the usual red wine.
It has power and richness, an exceptional style, minerality, and a subtle sweetness from the dried grapes. Don’t be put off by the 16.5% alcohol content; this wine needs it. Incredibly long finish, dry aged.
Dry, very robust, and full-bodied red wine.
