Refreshing acidity and a fine-grained tannin structure make the opulent richness seem incredibly elegant. The oak aging completely fades into the background, and you simply want to enjoy this fine drop right away.
Still, as with most very good wines, it’s worth being patient, because in our experience, the product from the nearly 100-year-old Carignan vines needs a few years of aging to fully reveal itself.
