Guy Bocard: Meursault Vieilles Vignes 2022

Located in the heart of the village of Meursault, the Guy Bocard winery manages 5.6 hectares of vines and produces exclusively white wines. As early as the 1920s, Charles Bocard, Guy's grandfather, founded the family estate. 1959 was an important turning point for the winery when Guy's father, also named Charles Bocard, began bottling his own wine and selling it directly. From 1976 to 1983, Guy Bocard acquired several additional plots in Meursault, took over his father's vineyards, and opened the Domaine at its current location in 1987. Since 2020, René Mora has succeeded Guy, who had already worked here as a harvest helper 30 years earlier. With the experience he has since gained on the Côte de Beaune, he introduced modern viticulture practices and led the transition to organic farming.
