Blanc de Blancs made 100% from Chardonnay.
Bright straw color with tiny bubbles. Aromas of green apples and honeycombs. On the palate, it is concentrated and structured with flavors of Granny Smith apples, lemon, and Asian pears. The finish shows great concentration and length with a beautiful mineral note.
The l'Extra from Gimonnet-Gonet is made 100% from the Grand Cru villages of Oiry, Chouilly, Oger, Cramant, and Le-Mesnil-sur-Oger, refined with 30–45% reserve wines and then aged for 36 months in the bottle.
The vines are at least 40 years old, all qualities are matured in steel tanks and age on the lees for 3-6 years depending on the quality. All champagnes show the typical minerality and saltiness of the Côte des Blancs. They need some time to breathe and should be drunk from large glasses. Then they unfold their full greatness.
