Vietti is undoubtedly one of the best producers in Piedmont. Vietti was a pioneer in the production of terroir-related single-vineyard Barolo and Barbaresco. At a time when the traditional idea of a Barolo or Barbaresco was always a vineyard blend, Vietti wanted to express the special potential of its top vineyards and developed them as single-vineyard wines. But the winery took bold steps not only with the top Nebbiolo wines. Vietti is also known for its exceptional single-vineyard Barbera and its Arneis. The fact that Arneis is experiencing a renaissance in Piedmont today and is now indispensable is also thanks to Vietti. For years, the winery has been cultivating its vineyards organically.
