In 1928, the Chiaverini brothers began producing jams in a small workshop on the outskirts of Florence. At that time, they were sold loose, wrapped in paper. The goods were delivered by bicycles equipped with large wicker baskets as transport containers. The Florentine customers included both shops and private individuals. In the 1930s, the brothers invented the cardboard and aluminum packaging, which is still used almost unchanged today. The nostalgic drawing of fruit on it clearly also dates from that time. Meanwhile, production has expanded and the jams are exported internationally. Handmade craftsmanship is still involved.
