Le Serre Nuove dell’Ornellaia is the second wine of the famous Ornellaia and is made from grapes from the same vineyards, which thrive under optimal conditions and according to the same careful philosophy as its big brother. The wine shows, typical for Le Serre Nuove dell’Ornellaia, its balanced structure and the characteristic finesse of the vintage: thanks to a mild winter, rainy spring days, and a warm, balanced summer, the grapes ripened evenly, while cool September nights preserved freshness and fine aromas.
The wine shines in deep ruby red with violet reflections. On the nose, ripe forest berries and cherries unfold, subtly accompanied by fine spice notes. On the palate, polished, fine-grained tannins combine with a harmonious body, supported by lively freshness. The balance of power and elegance ensures an invigorating drinking flow that ends in a long-lasting finish.
Already a pleasure today, which will further develop in the coming years.
