Pancetta! By now, it should be familiar from every cooking show. One of Italy’s major export hits, and rightly so.
This streaky pork belly comes from local Tuscan pig breeds. The pieces are sharply seasoned. They mature for several months and are highly recommended thinly sliced on bread or in pasta sauces.
Ingredients: pork, salt, pepper, natural flavors, sucrose, dextrose, antioxidant: E301, preservatives: E252 and E250.
Store in a cool, dry place.
Also available more quickly in a halved 1.2 kg version and now new in a mini size of about 350 g.
