It presents itself in ruby red with purple reflections and a very fascinating depth. On the nose, it is full-bodied and delicate, with notes of blackberries, blueberries, blackberries, cassis, dried plums, a hint of chocolate and coffee, as well as roasted aromas. On the palate, the wine is sweet but maintains a strength and freshness that invites a second sip. It is well balanced and particularly long, with soft, very pleasant tannins.
The Sagrantino grapes are harvested in mid-October and then partially dried on the vine, partially on racks for at least two months. The wine is macerated for two weeks and then aged for three years in barriques. It is a wine with a magnificent structure and balance, which makes the sweet taste of the Passito fascinating and by no means overpowering. Try it!

Lungarotti
At least everyone should have seen the Brezza, but behind the rather commercial wine, there are plenty of other excellent wines.
The winery was founded in the 1960s and is still family-owned today. It is located in Torgiano, right in the heart of Umbria.
Sustainable viticulture has also been practiced there for many years.
