The selection of fennel seeds and the mild seasoning overall are responsible for the delicate fennel flavor. The aging process takes about 6 months.
This Tuscan specialty is covered with noble mold and has a fine fennel taste.
Still made according to an old family recipe at its core and still handcrafted.
Ingredients: pork, pork fat, salt, pepper, natural fennel flavor, dextrose, sucrose, antioxidant: E300, preservatives: E252 & E250.
The product is available in 2 versions:
Vacuum-sealed and always readily available, and the version shown in the photo with noble mold. The plastic-free version not only protects the environment (no plastic and no refrigeration required), but is also somewhat cheaper and perhaps most importantly: in our opinion, it even tastes a bit better. You just need a little patience or to plan ahead, as this version is freshly delivered only about every 4-5 weeks.
The actual weight may slightly differ from the product description, as everything is still handmade. The price is calculated based on the estimated weight.
If the sausage is ever lighter (very rare), the difference will be refunded.
If the sausage is heavier (the usual case with fresh deliveries), the extra amount is only to your advantage and a saving. The product will not be more expensive.
