Agrapart: Terroirs

Founded in 1893 by Arthur Agrapart, the great-grandfather of the current owners Pascal and Fabrice Agrapart, in Avize in the heart of the Côte des Blancs. Agrapart has always been a truly in-house made Champagne. Since its founding, all subsequent generations of passionate winemakers have exclusively managed the cultivation, vinification, bottling, and sales themselves.

This independence allows the family to oversee every stage of production at all times. The estate's vineyards are geographically excellently located in the center of Champagne in villages classified as Grand Cru. Spread over 52 parcels, the vines have an average age of almost 50 years, with some even over 65 years old.

Moreover, the cultivation is managed using biodynamic methods, which also include working the vineyards with horses. This also results in Champagne with great individuality and personality.
