SicilyThe Leone comes from one of Sicily's most renowned wineries, Tasca d'Almerita.
The grape varieties used for the cuvée are Catarratto, Pinot Bianco, Sauvignon Blanc, and Gewürztraminer. These grow at up to 900 meters above sea level, which causes them to ripen a bit later.
The white wine appears in a bright straw yellow with greenish reflections and entices with lovely aromas of grapefruit, apple, pear, peach, and fresh herbs. Bellissima!
