Color:
Sparkling bright lemon yellow with delicate orange reflections and very fine bubbles
Nose:
On the nose, Instinct Meunier Brut Nature from Jeaunaux-Robin combines yellow fruit with buttery notes and slight maritime hints. Mirabelle plum, some ripe pineapple, and peach come forward first. This is followed by a series of typical aromas. Butter brioche, lightly toasted and warm-scented, makes it hard to resist. Very subtly, bourbon vanilla and vanilla kipferl appear. On the maritime side, it shows plenty of sea spray and oyster shell. The whole is rounded off with a touch of cold smoke.
Palate:
On the palate, it reveals itself to be noticeably firmer and clearer than the nose suggested. It is consistently dry, as its name already indicates, cutting through the fruit. Its gripping acidity structure immediately builds real pressure on the palate. Sparkling wine for advanced drinkers. Its mineral film lays compactly over the tooth surfaces and settles there. Wonderful. It challenges and delights at the same time. Towards the finish, it shows pleasant bitterness that complements the fruit wonderfully. In the aftertaste, the oyster shell combined with lemon zest comes through excellently and, above all, lingers long.
