Houblin-Vernin

After receiving the Trophée Jeunes Talents 2020, Valentin Vernin took over the management of the winery founded by Jean-Luc Houblin – the great quality pioneer of Coulanges-la-Vineuse – in 2022. The Kimmeridge soil brings salty minerality and fresh tannins to the structure of the red wines. The white wines of this appellation are lively, with fresh fruit and character. The top cuvées of the Domaine Houblin-Vernin, which now covers around 20 hectares, are bottled as single-vineyard wines, which is rather rare in Coulanges-la-Vineuse.
