The label features the Latin phrase "Sator Arepo Tenet Opera Rotas," which means "the farmer at the plow directs the work." We chose it when we acquired the land and became owners. It is a piece of land on the hill of Mango, a village in the Langa. We bought it in 1990. The letter G highlighted on the label emphasizes the passing of knowledge about the vineyard from father to son: Giuseppe, Giacomo, and again Giuseppe.
