The small Cottà vineyard in the municipality of Neive was acquired by the family in the 1970s. The vines date from 1962 to 1996. It was then vinified separately for the first time in 2015 and is considered another historic soul of the Barbaresco area. In this vineyard, the Tortonian influence of the soil produces complex and long-lasting wines.
The exposure here is southwest, with soil very rich in marl, high in limestone content, and small amounts of clay and sand.
The wine is aged for 20 months in oak barrels.
