Sea level between the district of Montelaguardia and Passopisciaro. The area covers 14.40 hectares, of which 4.9 hectares of vineyards. It is distinguished by terraces with dry-stone walls and more than 7 hectares of chestnut grove.
The morphology, sloping from southeast to northeast, has an average gradient of 8.5%. The area where the vineyards of Contrada Sciaranuova are located is characterized by the volcanic formations of Etna, which are between 4,000 and 40,000 years old.
