Ceretto: Barolo 2016

The harmonious, velvety style of Barolo is typical for the wines from Ceretto. It presents itself with a black-red color in the glass. The bouquet is wonderfully complex, fruity with aromas of blackcurrant, raspberries, Morello cherries, wild herbs, notes of spices, ginger, anise, and fine smoky hints. On the palate, it is delightfully juicy, the tannins are present but never overpowering; instead, emphasis is placed on elegance and finesse. A perfect balance between alcohol and acidity. A spicy, ripe, wonderfully harmonious fruit that lasts into a truly long finish. This is what a good Barolo tastes like!
