Ronco delle Cime Friulano and Ronco delle Mele Sauvignon are the two Cru wines from the Venica & Venica winery and together represent the “Spirit of the Place” project. The name Ronco delle Cime comes from the same vineyard where the Friulano grapes are grown. This wine tells the story of a borderland with its people and their memories, closely linked to the family traditions of the winemaking family and the heritage of the region. In 1999, Gianni and Giorgio Venica had a strong desire to dedicate a true Cru wine to this very special piece of land, which is perfectly suited for growing Tocai Friulano grapes. The original planting dates back to 1974, while the morphological restructuring was carried out in 2005.

The bouquet of the Venica & Venica Ronco delle Cime Friulano Collio DOC is broad and diverse: with fruity notes of pear, apple, white peach, and banana, through herbs and wildflowers to wisteria, roses, and the uniqueness of roasted almonds.

Even today, Venica & Venica is a "family business," founded in 1930, with 40 hectares of vineyards, all located in the Collio D.O.C. The Venicas are down-to-earth winemakers who value their traditions while continuously engaging in research and innovation. This can be seen every year at ProWein, when Mrs. Venica herself offers the wines for tasting and warmly welcomes visitors.
